ICT is “just” one of the parts of an organization. It’s supposed to increase the effectivity of the people performing their tasks by providing them with a deeper and clearer insight into the matters that they are dealing with. This enables them to react faster and better to opportunities and changes. The ultimate goal is to provide them with the proper information proactively.
